Last year I fell in love with Faust. I learned that the author of one of my favorite books was deeply inspired by Göethe and that one of the characters that most annoyed me in that same book was probably inspired by one of Göethe's characters I would soon fall head over heels for, the devil. Not The Devil, apparently there are many, I learned, but Mephistopheles is certainly one of them.

Ano passado eu me apaixonei por Fausto. Eu fiquei sabendo que o autor de um dos meus livros preferidos gostava muito de Göethe e que um dos personagens que mais me irritou nesse mesmo livro foi inspirado por um dos personagens de Göethe que logo também ia achar um espaço considerável no meu coração, o diabo.

In February 2019 me and my partner, Matt, threw ourselves in an adventure: driving across South America from Rio de Janeiro to Uyuni in Bolivia and then to the Atacama in Chile, and back.

Em fevereiro de 2019 eu e o Matt, meu cúmplice de vida, decidimos nos aventurar em atravessar a América do Sul dirigindo, do Rio de Janeiro até Uyuni na Bolívia, depois até o Atacama no Chile e de volta. A gente queria exatamente isso, uma aventura, e nós dois amamos conhecer lugares, culturas, línguas e pessoas - clichê, a gente sabe.
